New service offers simple music and HD sound effect solution

Gamecues brings audio licensing online

Audio production house Resnick Interactive has launched Gamecues, a website that offers a catalogue of readily-downloadable music and royalty-free sound effects.

Directly aimed at game developers, the service allows users to organise purchases by project and features flexible licensing options for music based on distribution method and locale, intended use and platform (including console, PC, web, mobile, advertising and promotional).

"We’re thrilled with the response we’ve had so far from musical copyright holders and top gaming publishers," said Todd Resnick, CEO of Resnick Interactive.

"We’ve got an innovative approach to music acquisition and licensing in video games, it’s simple, straightforward and it’s in line with the needs of the industry."
