Estonian company to provide funding, advice and mentor network

GameFounders launch European start-up accelerator

Europe finally has its own gaming startup accelerator, Game Founders.

The Estonian company will provide €10-€15 thousand in funding, a mentor network, and advice to select gaming startups.

The startup accelerator will take a nine percent equity stake in return for office space and funding.

According to Venturebeat, Game Founders is taking applications for a three month program.

Ten teams will be selected for the first round of the program

The deadline is July 10th, and the company welcomes applications from all gaming related startups.

Ideas in gaming and gamification are of special interest.

Game Founders boasts over sixty mentors available to its startups from around the world, and has a relationship with U.S. games accelerator Game Dojo

Other startup accelerators focus on games in the U.S, including YetiZen, and Joystick Labs.

Game Founders is supported by Enterprise Estonia.
