North East games development association GameHorizon has scored a talk from Xbox software design engineer Bruce Dawson for its November event.

GameHorizon announces ‘Evening With Xbox’

‘An Evening With Xbox’ takes place on November 15th at the Darwin Suite, Bioscience Centre at Newcastle’s Centre for Life.

Dawson will be talking about all things Xbox software development-related, promising to give an in-depth insight into commercial opportunities for developers on the Xbox and vital technical information.

Currently on a year-long stay in the UK to meet developers and generally support production on the Xbox platform – an ‘ambasssador from Redmond’, if you will – he was previously a developer at Humungous entertainment and also worked at Distinctive Software working on the Amiga game Test Drive.
