Event series to showcase new format at Cologne event

Gamehotel restructures for Gamescom

The Gamehotel series of events is to come to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, where it will take on a new format and structure.

Gamehotel, which offers a live multimedia stage show that gives audience to leading figures in the industry, is now being pitched as a ‘talk show extravaganza and rooftop party’. Taking place on August the 18th at the Gamescom trade show, the event promises to provide an opportunity to hear from a number of unnamed opinion formers in a vibrant, playful setting.

Previously the Gamehotel events have been held in Paris, California and Zurich, and along with the Gamehotel Think Tank, have welcomed guests including Peter Molyneux, Jade Raymond, Crysis developer Cevat Yerli, Will Wright and LittleBigPlanet creator Mark Healey.

The reformatted event has been branded as the Gamehotel Boss Suite, and is sponsored by Microsoft.

"A world-class lineup discussing fresh trends, at a spectacular venue – the Game Hotel Boss Suite is the perfect warm-up to a great trade fair week," said the event’s producer Tina Cassani.
