Gameloft denies plagiarism accusations

Gameloft has hit back at critics who say its games are clones of popular console titles such as Uncharted and God of War.

Several gaming websites have posted comparison articles and videos, suggesting Gameloft has borrowed content heavily from other titles. But the firm says ‘many games are just re-expressions of the same ideas’, reports IGN.

CEO Michael Guillemot: “The video game industry has always played around a limited number of themes. There is maybe one new idea a year."
