Over 50,000 attendees expected as Leipziger Messe kicks off its new show

Games Convention Online opens in Leipzig

Over 70 exhibitors are today making their way to the first annual Games Convention Online event in Leipzig.

Described by event organizers as ‘the world’s first ever trade show for browser, client and mobile games’, the three-day conference is expected to attract an audience of 50,000. 

A total of 74 exhibitors will be presenting their projects and businesses, together showing about 150 games. 

Wolfgang Marzin, CEO of organizers Leipziger Messe, said that online gaming is “revolutionizing the digital entertainment market.”
