Meet the UK gaming press – trade tickets cost £199.

Games Media Awards 2014: Have you got your ticket yet?

Just eight days remain until we find out who the press has voted as the winners of the Games Media Awards 2014.

And only a handful of tickets remain for the event, due to take place on October 15th at the revamped Bloomsbury Ballroom.

Trade tickets are available for £199 each. To book your place, click here. Alternatively you can email khumphrey@nbmedia.com or call 01992 535 646.

Over 250 people are expected to attend, with over 150 of them from national press, specialist outlets and further afield. This year the award categories have been overhauled, as has the judging and entry process.

Last Monday the finalists for the ten award categories were revealed – eight of which have been voted for by panels of games journalists and their peers in the games business, accompanied by two special awards which will be voted for by consumers and event attendees respectively.

There are over 60 different writers, media outlets (including podcast brands and video channels) vying for prizes.

Comedian Holly Walsh has been confirmed as host for the event.

Event sponsors for this year’s show include PlayFire, Sega, OnLive, NCSOFT, DC Thomson and EA FIFA 15.

Other sponsorship opportunities are available – contact aboucher@nbmedia.com for more info or call him on 01992 535 646.
