Gary Dale resigns from Take Two

Chief Operating Officer of Take Two Gary Dale will leave the company on April 15th.

In a company filing released today, Take Two reported that Dale’s employment as COO ‘will terminate effective on April 15th, 2009 and the Company will have no further material obligations to Mr. Dale beyond that date.’

A further statement provided to MCV by a Take 2 US spokesperson explained that Dale "resigned due to personal reasons".

Dale’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities at Take Two will cease immediately.

Dale had responsibility for Take Two’s global publishing labels, as well as sales activities, global expansion and business development.

He joined the company as Rockstar COO in January 2007, having held the role of European MD of Capcom since 2003.

He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Take Two in December that year, and then enjoyed another career lift in August 2008, when he became COO of Take Two.
