GDC: 49 Games expands management

Gabriel Hacker, formerly of RTL interactive GmbH, has assumed the role of deputy managing director of 49 Games. He will take on responsibility for the company’s business development division.

49 Games have stated that Hacker’s new role will “focus strongly on the online activities of the company, expand the portfolio, and represent the company externally as deputy managing director.”

Hacker is currently representing 49 Games at GDC 2010 in San Francisco. He will be joining Jan-Hendrik Ohl, Peter Cukierski, Florian Knappe, Thomas Mahlke and Dierk Ohlerich on the management staff.
