GDC China opens call for submissions

Think Services has opened the call for talk submissions for GDC China 2009.

The second outing of the Chinese arm of Think’s global conference octopus takes place at the Shanghai Convention Centre from October 11th to 13th, and is split into six tracks: Global Game Development, Online Games, Visual Arts, Audio, Mobile and Independent Games.

"The success of our event in 2007 demonstrated the enthusiasm and need for developers in China to further their learning in a conference style setting and gain insight into how their work plays an integral role in the games industry worldwide," said Meggan Scavio, event director.

"Based on our experience from our first event, GDC China 2009 will serve the community even better with more specialized content garnered with the help of the Asian development community, our advisory board, and the experience and knowledge of the GDC."
