GDC China to host IGF

The Independent Games Festival is coming to GDC China for its first time on international soil.

Having taken place for 11 years alongside the main GDC in San Francisco, the Independent Games Festival China is a specially-designed version of the event to showcase games developed by small companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

The event will comprise of three parts: an Independent Games Summit on the opening day of the GDC China conference (October 11th), a Pavilion to show off the games, plus an awards ceremony on the evening of October 12th – with a first-place prize of RMB 20,000 (approx. £1,788/$2900).
