Event moved to 2008?

GDC Korea 07 cancelled

A posting on the official site for this year’s planned GDC Korea has revealed the event has been cancelled.

The event was originally announced to take place in September from the 13th to the 15th, but, an official message at www.gdckorea.com says organiser CMP’s "plans for GDC Korean have changed".

It adds: "The event will no longer be held in Busan in September. CMP is enthusiastic about the Korean game development market, and we will continue working on a plan that best meets the community’s needs. Please check this space for updates."

The logo on the site now says ‘Game Developers Conference Korea 08’, suggesting plans are afoot to hold the show – which was intended to feature a two-day conference and a three-day expo – next year.

Plans for CMP’s other events, including August’s Austin GDC, September’s GDC China, and February 2008′ Game Developer conference in San Francisco, seem unaffected.
