Lighting tech demoed in GDC08 teaser

Geomerics launches Enlighten trailer

Cambridge, UK-based technology developer Geomerics has released a teaser trailer for their Enlighten real-time radiosity middleware.

The trailer, which can be viewed here, has been released as a warm-up to GDC08, and shows the latest version of the dynamic radiosity engine and the real-time effects of lighting manipulations.

“This video succinctly showcases exactly what we’re trying to do with real-time radiosity," said Gary Lewis, CEO of Geomerics.

"As we prepare for the most important conference for the global video game development community, we wanted to give people a taste of what Enlighten is going to be able to do and, crucially, how easy it will be to get the Enlighten SDK to do it.”
