GDC might have been a little out of some studios’ price range, but International Games Week Berlin has teamed up with TIGA to make next week’s event more affordable.
Games Week Berlin is the new name for Deutsche Gamestage and takes place from April 8th to 13th. It is a festival celebrating games development all over the world, comprised of multiple events such as German games meeting Quo Vadis.
And, courtesy of UK trade body TIGA, developers can now get 20 per cent off tickets to both Games Week Berlin and Quo Vadis by heading over to the official website and entering the promotional code: qv14TIGA.
Tickets for Games Week Berlin – which encompasses summits such as Quo Vadis and A Maze, as well as exhibition Gamefest and other events – range from €20 to €709. Meanwhile Quo Vadis tickets are available for between €149 and €689.
Both events have options for students, and attendees to Quo Vadis will even receive a Certificate of Attendance, so visitors can prove to their teams back home that they were improving their craft, not just taking in the sights of Berlin.
