2010 event bookmarked for Jan; organisers aiming to expand

Global Game Jam returns

Organisers for the Global Game Jam event have announced that the event will return next year.

The Global Game Jam sees hundreds of professional, amateur and aspiring game designers join together in various locations around the globe to develop a game in the space of a weekend. It is intended to be a fun, frenzied learning experience.

Last year’s event saw some 1,750 game developers team up in over 50 locations across 23 countries, with organisers looking to expand the event further this time round.

The 2010 Global Game Jam is set to launch across the globe from January 29-31.
