Puzzle & Dragons developer to publish titles across all platforms

GungHo signs République publishing deal with Camouflaj

GungHo has wasted no time in getting its new publishing aspirations underway.

Earlier this month the company revealed that it saw publishing as a good means of making use of its huge piles of cash. Now it has unveiled a deal to publish future titles from Camouflaj, including upcoming episodes of stealth action game République.

République is split into five episodes, the first three of which are already available on mobile and PC. GungHo will be handling publishing duties across all platforms.

"Camouflaj’s rapidly growing reputation for creating thought-provoking, yet accessible content perfectly aligns with GungHo’s vision for our expanding game portfolio," GungHo America CEO Jun Iwasaki said.

"We’ve been longtime fans of République, especially its sophisticated writing and the atmospheric world, which is why we’re so excited to work together with Camouflaj moving forward.”

Camouflaj founder Ryan Payton added: "GungHo Online Entertainment America shares our vision of bringing core gaming experiences to the global market. Bridging our years of triple-A development experience and GungHo’s broad reach and excellent track record, we hope to define a new generation of top-tier entertainment together.”
