WBIE founder's new company producing animated series using Epic's game tech

Hall back with Warner for UE3-powered TV show

Warner Bros TV’s digital production label Studio 2.0 has signed up a new show that will be made using Unreal Engine 3.

Chadam is the work of artist Alex Pardee and Jason Hall of HDFILMS.

Hall founded WBIE back in 2004, helping lay the foundation’s for Warner’s currently aggressive expansion into games – he left earlier this year to found this new HD movie firm, but retained a first-look deal with Warner on his projects.

It is thought that Chadam, which will start life as a web-based animated TV show, in time will also serve as an incubator for future expansion of the franchise into full TV, film and – yep – video game productions.
