Happy Madison developing Battlefield: Bad Company TV series

A Battlefield: Bad Company television series is in the works from Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison.

Deadline reports Sandler’s company is developing the show based on EA and DICE’s franchise with help from Alias executive producer John Eisendrath along with Sony Television.

The action comedy series is to be loosely based on four members of ‘B Company’ from the single-player campaign of the first Bad Company title.

EA announced earlier in the year it had sold the Need for Speed franchise film rights to Dreamworks Entertainment.
