Harmonix confirm vocal harmonies in Rock Band 3

Harmonix project lead Chris Foster accidentally revealed that Rock Band 3 will have vocal harmonies during a PAX East panel.

The statement, as reported by Joystiq, was made during a Rock Band designers – hosted panel discussion at which a ‘no Rock Band 3 questions’ stipulation was made.

However, when asked if Green Day: Rock Band songs would maintain harmonies when imported to Rock Band 2, Foster made the slip. Listing games with harmony support, he asked his fellow panel members: “We’ve said Rock Band 3 would have harmonies already, right?”

Realising his mistake, Foster became noticeably embarrassed.

"It’s been nice working at Harmonix,” he added.
