Plug-in free until full release

Houdini Engine for UE4 enters public beta

The Houdini Engine for Unreal Engine 4 has now entered public beta.

The plug-in allows networks of nodes to be wrapped up in Houdini Digital Assets and then shared with other artists. These assets can then also be loaded into the Unreal Editor with procedural controls available to users.

Houdini Engine is being made available for free inside UE4 during the public beta. The free Houdini Apprentice Edition can also be used to create assets.

Once then plug-in is fully released however, it will require an indie or commercial licence.

You can find more details on the official website.
