HTML5 vs Unity: Amazon decides at Develop Live

With so many devices on the market, developing cross-platform games is the best way to ensure their success these days. But what framework do you build them on?

At next month’s inaugural Develop Live conference, Amazon will offer an insight on two of the leading tools available: HTML5 and Unity.

The Kindle and Fire TV firm’s developer evangelist Jesse Freeman will discuss the pros and cons of each platform by looking at the same 2D game built in Phaser and Unity.

He will also break down the different publishing options open on both platforms, and offer tips on how to create truly cross-platform games from a single codebase.
