Californian Performance Designed Products buys British peripherals developer

In2Games acquired

Performance Designed Products (PDP) has acquired In2Games, the British and Hong Kong-based developer of motion sensing gaming technology and upcoming casual title Squeebles.

In2Games’ technology, Gametrak Freedom, is an ultrasonic 3D motion sensing technology which it claims ‘delivers performance, control and flexibility far in excess of that offered by existing technologies’.

Gametrak Freedom can be used with PS3 and Xbox 360. The company claims that the peripheral ‘accurately tracks the true 3D position and precise movements of up to four players, anywhere within a given environment, giving total control and unrivalled game play opportunities’.
