Indie MMO Game Developers Conference moves to Las Vegas

The third Indie MMO Game Developers Conference is to take place in Las Vegas at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel from April 17th to 19th, 2009.

“With Las Vegas being such an easily accessible location and the Alexis hotel offering an intimate atmosphere, IMGDC 3.0 attendees will find a venue for harnessing their passion and love for this industry,” said Jonathon Stevens, CEO of organisers Last Straw Productions.

While no speakers have yet been confirmed for the conference, submissions to host sessions are now open. Previously speakers from Sony Online Entertainment, BioWare Austin, University of Central Florida have attended the IMGDC.

Last Straw, which is also a developer and publisher, promises a conference that will include networking opportunities, industry keynotes, demo stations, and informal round-tables among its features.
