Boote joins publishers as non-executive chief financial officer

Indie outfit Kiss Ltd hire Mark Boote

Indie publishers Kiss Ltd have announced the hire of Mark Boote, who’ll be taking the role of non-executive chief financial officer.

Boote’s hire brings the team’s combined experience at the publisher’s to nearly 100 years in the games industry, claims the press release cheekily, but Boote himself has over 20 years of senior financial experience, with high-level stints at Codemasters and several digital media companies.

“Being able to appoint a person of Mark’s calibre is testimony to just how much Kiss Ltd has evolved and grown over the last 4 years”, commented Kiss Ltd’s CEO Darryl Still.

Boote’s hire will allow current COO Peter King to return to focus on business development, claims the news on Kiss Ltd’s website. The company claim this will allow them to accelerate growth.

Kiss Ltd was launched in 2012 and specialises in publishing indie titles developed for the PC by digital download.
