IndieCade 2010 calls for submissions

The call for submissions to the IndieCade 2010 independent games and interactive media festival has gone out.

Now in its fifth year, the US-based event showcases work from international studios and individuals who work without funding from major publishers. Entries, finalists and prize winners are selected by a jury consisting of game designers, artists, curators and academics.

All interactive media produced without major publisher funding is eligible for entry.

Submissions will close on June 1 and cost £45, with all submissions entered before May 1 receiving an early-bird fee of £35. The event organisers have said that works-in-progress are encouraged.

All selected entries will also be considered for presentation at other 2010 IndieCade events including E3 and IndieCade Europe.
