Industry backs 2011 Gadget Show Live

Leading games firms will come out in force for this month’s Gadget Show Live.

Exhibitors already confirmed for the consumer show include Nintendo, Sony, GAME, HMV, EA, Warner Bros, 2K Games, and Mad Catz – and all are keen to show off their wares.

For the first time, gaming will have its own hall with something for everyone in it,” said GAME’s head of UK communications Neil Ashurst. We’re the exclusive games retailer at the show and are working hard with publishers to provide exclusive content and offers for attendees.”

Nintendo’s events and partnership manager Natasha Chatur said: We’ve been touring the UK with 3DS for four weeks now with hugely positive responses.

Being at events like Gadget Show Live is always important, but more so than ever for the Nintendo 3DS as it offers a truly immersive experience that needs to be seen to be believed.”

Once again, there will be a dedicated Game Zone at the consumer show, but this time it will take up an entire hall at the Birmingham NEC.

The Gadget Show Live will run from Wednesday, April 13th to Sunday, April 17th.

It will be preceded by a The Gadget Show Live Professional, a trade-only day on Tuesday, April 12th.
