Industry vet Teasdale founds indie studio No Goblin

Veteran designer Dan Teasdale has formed No Goblin, a new indie studio that will focus on original mechanic-driven video games.”

The No Goblin’s official site(viaJoystiq)revealsthe studio will work on original IP that make an effort to avoid sci-fi and fantasy tropes.

The developer’s first title will launch for PC and the PS4 in the first half of 2014, and promies to contain "no guns, bows, lasers, laserbows or bowguns."

The studio is currently made up of Teasdale, who handles the roles of CEO and creative director, and an unidentified senior designer and artist who goes by the alias Panzer.

Teasdale previously worked at Rock Band developer Harmonix and indie studio Twisted Pixel – responsible for titles such as ‘Splosion Man, Ms. ‘Splosion Man and The Gunstringer.
