Chip manufacturer sponsors event for the fifth year in a row

Intel to sponsor GCDC

Intel has been unveiled as the official sponsor of the upcoming GCDC – due to take place later this year in Leipzig.

The event, which runs from the 20-22 August, will bring together some of the biggest names in the development industry.

“Europe has a tremendous pool of talented game developers,” said Arne Peters, segment manager consumer software Intel EMEA. “Europe deserves its own platform to share experiences, thoughts and views and information. GCDC is an important international conference and its success grows each year.”

“Our long-term partnership with the GCDC offers us the ability to strengthen our cooperation with game developers and thus makes it possible for us to better respond to their needs and expectations,”

Frank Sliwka, project director at GCDC added: “GCDC and Intel have a long history of cooperation, and with Intel we again have a strong partner for the international development community.”
