NewBay Media Europe announces replacement for Develop founder Stuart Dinsey

Intent Media names Mark Burton as new managing director

Mark Burton has been named the new managing director of NewBay Media Europe | Intent Media.

His most recent position was group publishing director at the Insurance Group of Incisive Media, where he oversaw several magazine, digital and event brands, including Post, Insurance Age Insurance Hound.

During his time at Incisive, Burton was instrumental in launching new digital products, expanding the firm’s events portfolio into new territories and growing subscriptions through digital corporate licences.

"Mark is an accomplished media executive with an impressive track record," said NewBay Media CEO Steve Palm. "He is the right person to further develop our magazine, digital and event capabilities and aggressively grow our European business. I am excited to have him join our team."

Burton added: "NewBay’s depth and breadth in the markets it serves offers a unique opportunity for growth and expansion. I am looking forward to working with the team to build on the success of the current products, and delivering the best service we can to our customers.

Burton replaces Intent Media founder Stuart Dinsey, who left the firm in October.
