ME and Develop will host networking event, which takes place on April 24th

Join Google, Unity, Affinity, BigBit and more at our developer party

Mobile advertising network InMobi made a number of key moves to support the app development market last year, and just last week introduced the App Publish distribution platform, which is designed to simplify launching into stores worldwide.

Having pledged support for the space, InMobi is hosting a Developer Party in association with Mobile Entertainment and sister publication Develop at London’s Grace Bar on Wednesday, April 24th. Google UK, Unity, Affinity Studios, BigBit, RIM, Gamesys and Switchfire are among those already registered.

The strictly developer-only event will provide a huge opportunity to attendees, offering new business and networking opportunities. What’s more InMobi will be on hand to reveal how its revenues from mobile apps continue to grow, supported with first-hand insights and experience.

Edward Laws, GM of performance for EMEA, InMobi, said: "Mobile apps are growing exponentially in terms of download volumes and user engagement. However, for many developers there are still significant challenges acquiring new high-quality users.

"With global revenue from app stores set to hit $25 billion this year, and with increasing in-app purchase opportunities, now is the time for developers to start prospering.

"We’re really excited about our first developer meet-up with Mobile Entertainment and Develop on April 24th, and sharing best practice on how to acquire, engage and monetise users on a global scale."
