Mobile developer becomes 'official mobile partner' of club

Jump nabs Manchester Utd. license for $100m

Mobile studio Jump Games has obtained the global licence to design, develop and distribute mobile games based on the Manchester United brand – and reports peg the price at $100 million, says Business Standard.

Jump, which is owned by Indian media company Reliance Entertainment, plans on globally releasing six Manchester United-branded titles within 2008, starting with Manchester United Word It.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United manager, said: “All of us, are delighted in our new arrangement with Jump Games. I think it’s a fantastic venture. And to all our fans all over the world it’s an opportunity to get yourselves involved in it.”
