Just Cause developer Avalanche moving in to new studio

Just Cause and Mad Max developer Avalanche is moving into a large new studio space in Stockholm, Sweden.

The new office will be more than 32,000 square feet in size and situated nearby to the company’s current base of operations, which houses 160 staff.

Avalanche plans to move into the new office in autumn 2015.

As well as a new Stockholm office, the developer’s US operations also recently expanded its New York base and now occupies 18,000 square feet of space in the Soho district. The US branch employs 90 staff across various disciplines and collaborates with the Sweden office.

As well as working on Mad Max, the studio has teased “several surprises” planned for next year.
