Tokyo-based studio says the tool â??truly shinesâ?? on large-scale projects

Kojima firm praises â??magnificentâ?? Hansoft tool

Metal Gear Solid studio Kojima Productions is the latest firm to license Hansoft’s project management toolset, the group has announced.

Swedish-based Hansoft offers out a range of programs designed to simplify large-scale projects, which allow collaborative scheduling, real-time reporting and bug tracking.

This year the tech earned the group a Develop Award for Best Tools Provider.

Yuji Korekado, production manager at Kojima Productions, said the firm started using Hansoft just within a select group of managers.

“However, once we experienced Hansoft’s fast and intuitive interface, powerful find and report tools, and host of other useful features, it didn’t take long before we brought the entire studio onboard”.

He added: “Hansoft is a magnificent tool that addresses the complex project management needs of game development, and truly shines when used on large-scale projects with teams of over 100 people”.
