Metal Gear Solid developer looking to expand its team to work on 3D action game

Kojima Productions opens LA studio

Kojima Productions has opened a new studio in Los Angeles, according to a job listing by the company.

The Metal Gear Solid developer is looking for a gameplay programmer to working on developing the technology, systems and tools programming “for the core foundation of a 3D action game.”

The job listing confirms the studio as Kojima Productions Los Angeles, and is currently looking to expand its team with creators, senior programmers, artists and developers.

The news comes after Kojima senior productions Kenichiro Imaizumi said in February that the developer would open a California studio “if it could find the right people”.

Kojima Productions is currently working on an open world Metal Gear Solid game called Ground Zeroes, revealed last month, as well as working with Gree on Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops for mobile.
