Support added for programming in C++11 and Microsoft's Visual Studio 2013

Leadwerks Standard Edition comes to Steam

Leadwerks has released the Standard Edition of its game engine on digital distribution platform Steam.

The full version can be bought as DLC for the current Indie Edition already available on the store. The newly released version adds support for programming in C++11 and Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2013.

The development platform also includes a new renderer built on OpenGL 4.0, level design tools and allows developers to also code with the Lua script language.

Leadwerks: Standard edition is available for £75.99, currently with ten per cent off. Developers must also purchase the Indie Edition however to gain access to the DLC. The engine uses a royal-free licence.
