Risque adventure game reboot raises $500k

Leisure Suit Larry reaches Kickstarter goal

With six days to go, the crowd funding campaign for Leisure Suit Larry has met its $500,000 dollar goal.

The series’ creator Al Lowe managed to get the rights to the raunchy adventure game, and launched a campaign on Kickstarter to "make Leisure Suit Larry come again".

The project will be rebooting the series, assembling a "dream team" to make a 2012 "Reloaded" version of Leisure Suit Larry 1-7.

This is just the latest series to see a return thanks to Kickstarter, with veteran game designers taking to the site to make the games they’ve always wanted, but could never get funded.
