Level 5 announces Studio Ghibli collaboration

Level 5 has announced that it will be collaborating with Oscar-winning animation house Studio Ghibli, the creator of films such as My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away.

The game, called Ninokuni: The Another World, is the first of Level 5’s 10th Anniversary games to be revealed. It’s currently also working on Dragon Quest IX for Square Enix, White Knight Story for Sony and Professor Layton and the Last Time Traveller for Nintendo.

Ninokuni be released on the DS and on a ‘currently undecided’ console, says Gamekyo, with animated sequences created by the Ghibli folks.
