Former Rare studio director to discuss creating new IP, managing creative risk and new business models

Lift London head Lee Schuneman to keynote Evolve

Microsoft Lift London studio head Lee Schuneman will present the opening keynote at Evolve in Brighton.

Taking place on the opening day of the Develop Conference, the former Rare studio director will discuss creating new IP, managing creative risk and will look at new business models for delivering ‘connected’ experiences.

Schuneman will also outline his vision for the next era of cloud gaming.

“I’m incredibly excited to be speaking at Evolve in Brighton,” said Schuneman.

“Evolve has long been one of the premier events on the European developer calendar and, at a time when Microsoft is bringing the most powerful, progressive and integrated set of gaming and entertainment experiences the company has ever offered to consumers worldwide, the opportunity for me to talk about some of the new ideas and methods of bringing content to market is one I’m greatly looking forward to.”

Other sessions confirmed for Evolve in Brighton include Square Enix’s Jim Blackhurst discussing Hitman: Absolution and user generated contracts and MongoDB, and Super Massive Games’ Ollie Purkiss on ‘From console development to free-to-play: Notes from the Frontline’.

The Develop Conference begins on July 9th till July 11th and will take place at the Brighton Hilton Metropole.
