Vast range of avatars can be exported to Gamebryoâ??s engine

LightSpeed integrates 3D character e-store

Evolver’s online store of 3D character models has become the latest service that’s been integrated with Emergent’s Gamebryo LightSpeed engine.

Users can now browse through Evolver’s web-based library of 3D characters – and even look through a selection of animations of each – before exporting a purchased avatar into the LightSpeed engine.

The strategic partnership between both groups will give Evolver’s service more exposure, and adds to a sizable list of services that the LightSpeed engine has integrated.

Evolver CEO Brian Nilles spoke of how its pre-made 3D models, and the LightSpeed engine itself, will both help speed up development efficiency.

The price of Evolver’s character models vary considerably, with home-made models (as pictured) selling for $9.99 and professional characters going no lower than $39 each.
