Hub service launching later this year allows players to purchase in-game items

LittleBigPlanet goes free-to-play

Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet is going free-to-play with a new Hub service.

Coming to PS3, the new service will provide players with instant access to user generated content, such as levels and clothes.

Users will be able to test our clothing ensembles, share them with friends and also purchase these items in the game.

As with previously LittleBigPLanet titles, players will be provided with tools to create their own levels to share with other players.

The service will launch later this year.
