As event organisers introduce a new â??15-minute speechâ?? format

Livingstone to keynote at Festival of Games

Eidos Life President Ian Livingstone will deliver a keynote session at the sixth annual Festival of Games event, organisers have announced.

Livingstone will be at the event to discuss his career at Eidos and speak broadly about the history of the industry as he climbed through it.

The announcement of Livingstone’s keynote comes as event organisers NLGD Foundation reveal that the annual conference will see a new keynote format; short and sharp 15 minute discussions from developers and publishers alike.

“We have thoroughly reviewed current trends in the games industry,” said event chairman Seth van der Meer.

“The year 2010 requires the knowledge that could be easily translated into actual results already tomorrow. Thus, the Festival of Games brings together the pioneers and decision-makers that made this industry flourishing.”

The Festival of Games is held in Utrecht Congress Center on June 3 – 4, 2010.
