3D modelling and sculpting tool undergoes significant upgrades

Luxology details Modo 701

Middleware outfit Luxolgy has revealed Modo 701, offering a significantly bolstered version of its 3D modelling tech.

Modo 701, due for release in the coming weeks, focuses on upgrades to the tool’s modelling, sculpting, animation, effects and rendering workflow ability.

"We’ve made such big improvements to the existing architecture of the software in MODO 701 that 601 users will notice a huge leap forward," said Brad Peebler, co-founder of Luxology. "We’ve also added some really cool functionality like the new particle system. This release will truly deliver on the philosophy that perfection comes through refinement.
