Latest update includes new range of APIs, tutorials and simpler dependency checks

Marmalade 7 SDK goes live

The latest iteration of cross-platform SDK Marmalade 7 has been released.

The new iteration of the tool features a number of additions and changes, including a new GUI tool designed to make the platform more user-friendly.

Simplified documentation has also been provided, as well as improvements to pre-cross-platform deployment checks.

Other additions include new game tutorials in using Marmalade Quick (Lua) and Marmalade C++, a new range of APIS to integrate third-party services and training videos. A new Marmalade website has also gone live.

“Marmalade 7 is the start of an exciting roadmap of changes and enhancements to our SDK, designed around our customers," said Marmalade head of SDK Tony Waters.

"The changes will make it easier for first time users to get started on their projects, with many enhancements along the way that will make developing projects with Marmalade more intuitive, more flexible and the final deployment more powerful.”
