Latest addition to Marmalade gives devs access to player behaviour data

Marmalade and GameAnalytics launch new service

Marmalade has added yet another service to its games development platform thanks to a new partnership with GameAnalytics.

Together the two companies have created Marmalade Analytics, a new back-end that will be powered by GameAnalytics’ data. The service can be integrated into games via the Marmalade Platform.

It will enable users to analyse player behaviour via multiple pre-defined dashboards, or devs can set up their own to focus on the metrics they really need. They will also be able to compare this data with that of other games serviced by GameAnalytics.

The new analytics tool is the latest addition to the Marmalade Cloud Services, which launched earlier this year with a partnership between the tools firm and GameSparks.

“Launching Marmalade Analytics is an exciting and critical step in our evolution toward becoming a full spectrum game development platform,” said CEO Harvey Elliott.

“Our partnership with GameAnalytics is a reflection of our commitment to partner with the leading cross-platform service providers in their fields, and with both companies passionate about game development, we’re extremely excited about our partnership.”
