Britsoft publisher distances itself from the casual space by relinquishing rights to Gimme5games' properties

Matt Spall buys back Gimme5 from Eidos

Britsoft publisher Eidos has parted ways with casual games developer Gimme5games, with Matt Spall’s outfit pledging to carry on operating as an independent web and casual studio.

As part of the agreement, Eidos has sold back its rights to Gimme5games.com and DifferenceGames.com to original owner and industry veteran Matt Spall, along with its games and properties, who will continue as Gimme5’s general manager.
