Diversity key to success for team of ten

Mexican developer scores 300m downloads through Nokia store

Mexican developer Inode Entertainment has reached a major milestone – 300 million downloads – all from the Nokia Store.

According to Pocketgamer.biz, the ten-man studio had 200 million downloads for their products eight months ago, and since that time has managed to exploit what seems a specialist market for some major traffic.

The key to this success is diversity; Inode isn’t just a games developer, and also creates themes and personalization apps.

The company has published over 100 apps, and volume is certainly a big help, but the company has also taken advantage of the market provided by Windows Phones.

Inode has seen the biggest success on the Asha range of devices, which is pushing downloads of games like Moto Challenge.

Inode plans to release ten titles for Nokia’s platform this year.
