Online company to use toolset for 'advanced-casual' MMO

MindFuse picks HeroEngine

Californian developer MindFuse has signed up to use Simutronics’ HeroEngine online game platform.

The small studio will be using the tech for Gatheryn, a steampunk-flavoured MMO that’s described by the team as an ‘advanced casual MMOG’.

Despite only amounting to thirty people – including outsourcers and contractors – the team hopes to have the game out during the first half of 2009.
