iOS edition goes live tomorrow; Android and Apple customers can mix online

Minecraft says hello on iPhone and iPad

Indie game sensation Minecraft is one day away from full release on iOS.

The 2.4MB edition of the game will sell on the App Store for about $10, months after an Android version launched on Xperia Play.

According to the game’s developer, Mojang, the iOs edition will allow customers to play online along with Android users of the game.

Minecraft Pocket Edition launches Thursday November 17th in the US, one day before the ceremonial launch of the ‘final’ PC version at a Las Vegas event.
