Publishing giant Ubisoft looking to deliver 'a new and innovative social gaming experience to franchise'

Mobile Assassin’s Creed after Gree deal

Ubisoft is developing a new Assassin’s Creed game to release exclusively through mobile platform Gree.

The game will be released for both iOS and Android devices, but only available through Gree’s upcoming social games platform, due to launch in the next few months.

The mobile games company said that Ubisoft was looking to deliver “a new and innovative social gaming experience to the franchise”. It is currently slated for release in December.

Gree has been busy bringing on developers and publishers to its upcoming social games platform, having recently added a number of Asian studios to its roster to sell games such as Three Kingdoms TD – Fate of Wei and Rise of Olympia.
