Former head of EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific post production at Hands On joins Scottish studio

Mobile game dev Distinctive Developments hires ops manager

Mobile game developer Distinctive Developments has hired Johanna Vuorela as operations manager.

She will oversee Distinctive’s global post-production services as the company increases its internal resources on creating porting services. The UK company recently opened a new porting centre in Poland.

Prior to joining Distinctive, Vuolela was the head of post production for Hands On in EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Nigel Little, Distinctive’s MD, said, “Post Production is a critical component in mobile development.

"The sheer number of handsets on the market and the need to ensure that every consumer – worldwide – has the best possible experience makes it vital that all of our porting and quality assurance services are of the highest quality. Johanna has the experience and understanding to ensure that we provide the best possible standard of service to all of our clients and guarantee that all of our games meet expectations.”
